By Hello dear readers! It’s already been two years since I’ve started this blog. My initial goal was just to have an outlet for my passion about music. I like to write, and I have a lot of opinions (for better or for worse),and I figured that it would serve as a way to “get it out of my system” and that maybe a handful of my friends would read it. Indeed, a handful of my friends read it, but many, many more strangers do! This is mind blowing and I’d like to thank everyone for taking the time to read me.
I also had a secret goal: to be able to photograph concerts professionally and maybe even interview bands. I recently became a writer for Montreal Rampage where my concert reviews are now also published. But other opportunities come through Rampage, and they gave me additional weight to go after some of my goals. Helped by the editor-in-chief Rachel Levine, I’m working on setting up my first interviews, and getting that elusive photographer pass.
I’m very excited about the coming year, as I think this blog will rise to the next level. Stay tuned! I’m also now on Facebook too; you can “Like” Diary of a Music Addict on the right hand column of this blog.
