The Music Addict’s VerdictSimple, catchy pop punk reminiscent of the early 90’s California sound.

How was the band formed?

The band was originally Eddie and Finlay with their mate back in 2014. There was no real intention on becoming a proper band, it was just a way to play music with mates. Eddie and Finlay decided that they wanted to go further in music so in 2018 Corey and James joined the band and created the current line up.

What’s your songwriting process like?

All our current songs have been written by Eddie. The process normally works by Eddie coming to band practice with a song and we all learning it and then adding our own little thing to the song. Eddie brings the foundation and the band builds on it.

What are your influences?

The band has many influences from, Green Day and Blink 182 to Guns N Roses and The Smiths. Our influences are very varied but influenced by many major bands

How would you describe your music?

The best way to describe our music is East Bay punk in the 90s. For people who don’t know what that is, listen to Green Day from Dookie era and before and you will understand our sound. Pop punk.

What’s the one thing that makes your band stand out from the rest?

That’s a good question. One thing that stands us out is the simplicity of our music and how catchy it is. A lot of music in our scene sounds very complex. We strip our music back and let the lyrics lead the song

What are your plans for the next few months?

Because of corona, all our plans are non existent. We had many gigs lined up unfortunately they are no longer plausible which is upsetting but we will be back stronger.
