How was the band formed?
Many of us were living together at the time when we decided to become a band. We launched the band when we packed up and moved to Winnipeg from Vancouver. We found a house in the middle of the city and launched in 2018.
What’s your songwriting process like?
There’s six of us in the band and we’re all songwriters. it’s always different. An idea flows in and we hear it and we play it. When we get together and hash out a song it’s down to just jamming it out and letting everyone put their influence on it.
What are your influences?
Each other. The six of us are very close and we constantly push each other not only creatively but personally and emotionally. We think it’s important that we grow together as a family and let that love and appreciation pour out into our music and performance.
How would you describe your music?Joyful, Sensual, Indie-Folk
What’s the one thing that makes you/your band stand out from the rest?We have 2 lead vocalists that are very powerful and they’ve been dating for over 3 years so the chemistry is very strong.
What’s your latest release?‘House’ was our debut EP. We are so proud of this release. Four tracks produced by one of the best here in Winnipeg: Lloyd Peterson. You can find it everywhere digitally, check it out for yourself!
What are your touring plans for the next few months?
We plan on going on tour across the prairies. We’ll get through some of Ontario, Saskatchewan maybe Alberta, and of course Manitoba. For the next few months we’ll be in Winnipeg playing quite a bit, so follow us on Facebook and Instagram to keep up!
